So today your coaches have attended the annual British cycling conference and I hope you will all join us in congratulating our coach Oli Bell who has been awarded East Midlands coach of the year for the work he does within our club, Oli has progressed through the Young Volunteer Program and completed his Level 1 coaching award, he helps and supports all our riders, runs our warm ups and always has great words of encouragement for our riders at training session and races. Well done Oli
We are looking for event organisers to help run our evening 10 time trials. We plan to run x6 events Thursday 7th June onwards.
The TT Event organisers role is to see that the event runs smoothly, put marshals/signs in place, make sure time keepers/pusher offs are all organised….
This is not an overly complex role & full help and guidance is on hand from other members, we just do not have anyone now who can fully commit to the full 6 evenings.
So we are therefore looking for people to take on the role just for a single week to ease off the burden of full commitment for the whole 6 series.
CANCELATION:
If we do not get a main event organiser covered for each event by the end of March we will have to CANCEL the Evening 10 TTs which will be a real shame.
Once we hopefully fill these organisers roles we can start to get marshals places filled.
Thanks in advance for any one who would like to help.
A reminder of our "Helpers tokens" system can be found below which any TT volunteers would be entitled to:
